any humbucker sounds more like single coil/least distortion?

Dont mean to defeat the purpose, but after a lifetime of single coils i found an axe i love with 2 humbuckers...and want to replace one of'em with a bucker that will come somewhat close to a ducky strat sound...im looking at the dimarzio freds...now, i know it will not be the same or close even? just want a bucker that can give me a distinct sound that can differentiate each string, not just a distorted growl.....which is what i will leave to the bridge bucker....any suggestions>???

i found'em to be probably the semendunkin stag mags or rio grande muy grande or dimarzio bluesbuckers....but im goin for stagmags.....this is for those interested fyi....but any barto's/schaller/other input still appreciated
