Welcome, y'all! I got a DC200T in all gloss koa that I've had for about 10 years. Best built guitar in my entire stable, and the most versatile! What's yours?

Hey Herb! I don't have one yet. What do you know about that Carvin 32 channel board? They have a good rep, but I don't know anybody who owns one. I have a Carvin cab, slant front with 4-12s, I love it!

Don't know about the big boards, but if they're made like the guitars, they've gotta be good. We used to use one of the 12 channel "PA in a box" by Carvin, and it was great. Lost it when we let the guy go that owned it.

He's not around anymore, but when he was, Frank Zappa's home studio, as well as his mobile studio setup was all Carvin boards. That's a guy who had an incredible ear, and who could afford anything he wanted in equipment, and probably had tried 'em all. A pretty good recommendation in my book.

All the Carvins are very nice instruments. Their bolt neck are their bottom of the line, but the quality of those is easily on a par with any of the MIA Fenders. Then they are completely customizable, so you can have 'em any way you want. Your only limitation is your budget, or your credit card limit.

This is my Sapphire Blue Carvin Bolt-T, another Ebay score. It has a little wider ebony fingerboard than I am used to, but that suits some styles of playing very well, and I'm getting used to it quickly. The tones it gets are very Strat-like, but I'm not ecstatic about the neck pickup, which came with their TBH60 twinblade humbucker. It's a little harsh for my ears, and I'll probably be swapping it out soon, for a full size hummer. The Wilkinson trem is very nice. The finish is beautiful, it stays in tune for days at a time, and sounds wonderful. I'm a happy camper!
