| Hi, I want to learn to play rock guitar but the difficulty is that it’s not possible for me to take private lessons on this and I am thinking of taking online lessons for this. Can anyone suggest me a good source where I can get the needed stuff for a beginner and help me further on to make a better rock guitar player? |

Now the beginner rock guitar player finally has his or her own fast-track course. With all the important elements which you should know. In 30 days you learn, by playing together with the band: - Rock ballads - Shred technique - Riff rock - Punk rock - Hard rock and more. Direct downloadable to your pc. For more information look at my signature.

You can find tons of free guitar lessons online, but most aren't really that great. I've seen some pay sites, but I haven't been impressed to even try them.
There's also many books out there. But if your like me, I prefer to see how someone is playing instead of listening to an instructional CD or book.
The best method I've discovered for myself are learning from instructional DVDs.
My favorite is Fender's Getting Started On Electric Guitar with Keith Wyatt. I've seen Keith play in concert and he doesn't play any different than he does on the DVD. I know if I can learn all he teaches on the DVD I would actually be able to play in front of people.
Guitar Magazine also releases some instructional DVDs every couple of months just like a magazine. I have the Beginning Rock Guitar DVD with Andy Aledort. I think it is excellent. It came out a couple months ago. The latest one out is Beginning Acoustic Rock Guitar with Andy Aledort. I have no desire to play acoustic guitar so I haven't picked it up. They sell these DVDs where you buy Guitar Magazine. These cost $9.99, an amazing deal for the info that's in them.
Once you find out what type of music you want to play, there's probably a good DVD out there for you. |
