Hi all,

I just want to let you guitarist out there know that I have created a new Guitar instruction site that you may find very helpful. The site is called Guitar KnowledgeNet and can be found at www.guitarknowledgenet.com

What you will find inside includes:
Hundreds of Chord and Scale Fingerings from any root note.
Over 200 Major and Minor Chord Progressions in any key.
Over 150 Musical Terms defined.
Practice Tips.
Suggested Listening
And Much More is on the way. Shocked

It took me over a year to create this site and about 18 years to learn the theory needed to create it. I really hope you like it. If you do please pass the site along to someone else.

Thanks,
Mike

PS if you want to hear my music you can do so at www.guitarknowledgenet.com/MusicPage.html

Corey776, thanks for the input.

Very sorry about that, the server went down the night you posted. My host company had the site on back-up everything ran very slowly a lot of people couldn't get in. I was a bit upsetting because the site was just starting to get a lot of hits, and this was a real momentum killer. But it's fixed now. All the pages on this site are between 78kb - 133kb and there are only 6 pages, under normal conditions that should only take you (dsl) about 10 to 12 seconds to download. It should be a lot faster if you try it again.

Hi all
Just wanted to let you know there are now two new sections on the site. One is called the Lesson Zone and the other is called Beginner Zone.

These more lessons will be added in the days and weeks to follow.

Let me know what you think.

I really liked your site. It will help me learn a great deal.

I am looking for something and maybe you know where I can find it. It would be cool to go to a site that would would play, for instance, an Allman Brothers song and while it was playing, the chords and melodies would be on the screen so I could follow and play along.

It is great to develop the ear, but I would also like to see the music. If you do not know, I will post it to the group.

Thanks again.

louisb - great idea. I don't know anyplace that has anything like that but maybe I could put one together. I'm not sure how I would do it, but I'll mess around with the the idea and see if I can't come up with something.

Right on thanks for the nice words. Yeah I like keeping it free too and I hate those ads so you won't see them any time soon. There may be one ad sometime but that won't happen any time soon.
