I am thinking of getting an Epiphone Sheraton 2. Does anyone out there have an opinion about this guitar. hehehe dumb question I know. What I mean is, how does this guitar compare to other semi hollow bodied guitars as far as quality and sound, and is there anything that should be changed as far as electronics, string size etc. I have been wanting a Gibson ES 335 but don't want to pay the high price and am looking for something that compares very closely without the price. can anyone out there help inlighten this fairly new to guitar playing guy? Welcome, vspec! It's a very nice guitar, but not as nice as the real 335's. The pickups are weaker, and the feel is not as nice as the Gibsons, but it is still a very nice guitar. There's a reason for the difference in price, and it isn't just the name.
