I am looking for a nylon string, thin body, electric guitar--preferably one without a sound hold--and want a list of what's available. Here's what I have so far: Godin multiac, Gibson Chet Atkins, Epiphone chet atkins, Sand, Rick Turner, Crafter 125, yamaha silent (sort of). Any additions to this list will be appreciated. As well as additions I would also be interested in comparisons and judgements about which is best.

Of the ones that you mentioned, I would go with the Gibson Chet Atkins. I have played one of these and they are great guitars. A close second would be either the Godin or the Epiphone. Both are less expensive, more bang for the buck, and seem to be well made but they aren't as nice as the Gibson (my opinion of course). The Rick Turner is probably an awesome guitar but they are extremely expensive, probably close to twice the cost of the Gibson.

Bottom line: If money is not an issue, go with the Gibson or the Turner. If money is an issue, then any of the others will do.

Tommy: money is a problem and the Gibson and the Turner are expensive. From what I read on Harmony Central, the Turner may be the better of the two but I might be able to afcford a used Gibson.

I owned an Epiphone for as long as it took for me to unwrap the package, play the guitar, and send it back. I think the Crafter CT 125, while a bit more money, is a lot more guitar.

Thanks for your response.
