Most "Organic" electric guitar? If you can call no tone, not being able to get a pinch, horrible pickups, and necks that feel like holding crap "organic" go for it. I have never owned a Fender and I dont intend to. I have played so many only to be udderly dissapointed.

snowboy..i deleted the last part of your post....its one thing to have an opinion--its another thing when you directly slam someone else for having theirs--this is a discussion board-not a mud flinging fest !!...you have your opinion regarding fenders and i'm sure there are others that have like opinions regarding whatever it is you play...thats why we discuss things like that here--not attack each other over their choice of gear--there are websites that subscribe to that behavior..this isn't one of them. |

| Dude you know it, Fender doesnt put quality products on the market. people just think fenders are great guitars just because hendrix played on a fender. well I have bad news about hendrix, he died because of an overdose of drugs, which I think most people that are obsessed with fender are on. |

Hi there,
Sorry for the dead links.
Hendrix ?!? I've never heard of this name...
More seriously, there are far more world class guitarists than just Hendrix that are playing exclusively Fender guitars !!! And some of them are still alive... getting high on music with no other drugs involved than adrenaline, endomorphine and dopamine which are drugs that are as "organic" as a Fender can be. These drugs are naturaly produced by Fender player brains having high level playing fun !!!
Since you've digged up my very old message again here you go with a good and very secure link to hear what a most "organic" Fender can sound like when it's played by a most "organic" guitarist... which in this case is me...
3 of my songs for you to stream or download.
I would be happy to get your opinion about it.
Cheers. |

I think this guitar is not so bad as you describe. There are some lacks that really disappoint me, but i think there can't be an 'ideal' guitar in the world.
No tone... Why? Your arguments?
Horrible pickups... Yes they are. But you can replace it. Don't you think other demo-pickups are better? |

| I've made this argument with people several times; I would have to dispute that the most "Organic" (Electric) guitar that it available (Obviously not counting sh|it like Dobro's...because Slide is a whole different animal than playing with your fingers...) I would have to say that of all of them, Probably the Gibson ES335 would be the Most Organic High Unit-productuion Electric Guitar...I would say that the Most organic solid-body Guitar that Fender Makes (or Made) would have to be a 50's Fender Esquire...NOT a Telecaster...I have two of those myself...I have a more or less "New" one that I bnought for myself on the night of the day that I finished rehab in June 2004 when I was 18...the other one, I've had for a longer time than that...I bought a '57 Les Paul Jr. Re-Issue @ the Guitar Center in Natick, MA after I bought out of the Hospital after being in the hospital for more than 4 solid months...a month & a half of that was just *before* I came out of the coma...) & that guitar played so well that my father offered me a trade that I would've had to be retarded to pass-up; that '57 Les Paul Re-issue for an Original '69 Fender James Burton Pink Paisley Telecaster in real good condition that he found in a pawn shop in like the crappiest most gang-ridden Sh|it Hole neighborhood in Boston; Blue Hill Ave. in Dorchester & he heckled the pawn shop casier or whatever because it was bright pink with purple spots but he didn't wanna pay no $750 for it...he wanted it for $200 & then he was gonna take it home & Krylon spray paint it Black...so he got it for $250 (which is a R _APE because I say like that same guitar in the Duchossoir Fender Telecaster book taking up one of the 9 color pages in that book, & I've seen Original ones go on ebay for like 5 grand. & like a Telecaster...if there's one thing you *DON'T* see a Country Music Lead Guitar player without at some point in their career...it's a Fender Telecaster |
